Default Summer and Storing Whisky

My apartment gets pretty hot during the summer--I'm guessing the ambient temperature gets up to 84 degrees. I'm worried about how this will affect my unopened bottles of whisky. Should I consider putting them in my refrigerator? I drink my drams neat and at room temperature, but if it will preserve the whisky, I'll make room in the fridge. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't worry about the heat too much [unless it get's really hot] although you should keep your bottles in the coolest spot in your apartment, near the a/c. What you don't want is to have them where sunlight can get to them as that does affect all whiskies.
