I am new to the scotch world. I've tried Macallan 12yr, Glenmorangie 10yr, Oban 14yr. Of the three the Glenmorangie is my favorite. I just bought a bottle of Craggenmore 12yr just from the reviews that accompanied it at Bevmo. Is it similar to the Glenmorangie 12yr? I'm thinking of taking it back and getting the Glenmorangie La Sonta. Anyone try this Glenmorangie line?
Also, a second question. My father is a Johnny Walker drinker. I gave him a bottle of Johnny Walker Blue for Christmas last year, which he has not opened yet. He is normally drinks the "Black" label. How does the "Blue" differ from the "Black"? Also, what single malt scotch can I recommend to make him forget about Johnny? Thanks.
