My wife bought me a decanter for my birthday and a bottle of Edradour 10 yr. I definitely do not want to put that bottle in the decanter, but I was curious if there was a bottle anyone would get specifically for decanting?

If the decanter is 24% lead crystal or leaded at all, do not decant as lead will leach into the whisky over a period of time. You can; however, decant in the leaded crystal for a short period of time. For instance, if you are giving a dinner party and want to present the scotch in a nice vessel.
