I moved into a house and found a bottle in a cardboard sleeve that has the words "Container Made in United Kingdom" impressed into it. The home belonged to a WWII Vet so I am thinking it is a vet "bring-back". Label says "By appointment of His Majesty The King". I don't know if they changed the label when Queen Elizabeth's reign began or not.
Label on bottle has No. AH 540476. Seal and Ribbon are still intact. I am eager to find any information about this bottle: Where was it bottled ? When ? Where was it sold ? When was it sold ? What might it be worth today ? I will attempt to attach a link from my Photobucket of the bottle, Hope it works. Any information would be greatly appreciated. ![]()
