Red face Somethin funny about my bottle of Maker's Mark

Hey I just got into drinking maker's mark whisky and had a problem! Well my problem is that twice I have left some of the whisky in my drink glass and after a couple of hours it is turning cloudy in my glass nothing has been put in it or been spilled in it, also it almost has a kind of turpintine smell to it when the clouding starts. Is this a defective bottle or what? Do I have anything to worry about please let me know somethin this is really bugging me thank you!
