Added 3 new expressions to my sample testing

Just for kicks, I am going to sample somewhere between 4 and 7 different expressions, 1 drink per night, each drink consisting of a double shot of whatever turn it is to be sampled, mixed with a double shot of Schweppe's soda water, twist of lime / lemon.
Today I bought 3 new bottles of SMSW:
(1) two bottles of "Macallan 18"
(2) Ardbeg "Airigh Nam Beist"
(3) Ardbeg "Uigeadail"
Sort of hurt my CC as you would imagine.
To add to the above 3 expressions, I've already got:
Macallan 12
Bunnahabhain Signatory un-chill-filtered heavily peated
Bunnahabhain 12 YO
& 2 bottles each of Balvenie 12 YO Double Wood &
Dalwhinnie 15 YO
Not too sure exactly what the samples will be yet.
Any thoughts?

Do you always mix your Scotch with soda water and a twist of lime / lemon? What gave you the idea? How's it going? BTW - I do not think I have had the Uigeadail - let me know how it compares to the Nam Beist.

Always as of the last 30 years or so, JoJo, but not always a twist of lemon or lime, and I might consider deleting the lemon or lime twist from the process.
Within each hobby, sport, or anything that people collectively enjoy as a community, there's always something that is considered a corruption or a bastardization of the true meaning / definition of the original hobby or sport.
It's no different to those that enjoy social drinking. Do you suppose that the difference lies within those that do not like drinking alcohol straight. That the way that I drink, and that's the way that I will test / sample for my likes / dislikes. Diluting a alcoholic beverage might be a little easier on ones throat / stomach lining / liver / kidneys also. I do, however, believe that alcohol in moderation is good for the system. Sorry for the long post.

I just sitting down to a nice large Ardbeg Uigeadail, which I very much enjoy. It has the classic Ardbeg smoke, but with a slightly smoother sweeter edge. I find the sherry sweetness more apparent on the early palette to start with and less so on the finish, which seems odd compared to the usual sherry finished malts.
It is still a heavy peat smoke malt, and as smoky as they come.
