Default Whisky Weight and Densities???

Hello All,
I am new here, and I was just wondering what the heaviest (actually, the densest) whisky was that you could find for a reasonable price at your local pub? Thank you in advance!

Thumbs up Macallan Red Cask

I just came back from the Whisky Society gathering in Los Angeles tonight where I tasted a Macallan "Red Cask". I have never heard of before. It was the "heaviest" single malt I have ever tasted. Very unique. I can not seem to find it anywhere when doing a search. I wonder if anyone else has heard of it or maybe I have the name wrong.

Mitchell -see the below notes regarding The Macallan Cask Strength. This information comes directly from a Macallan Ambassador who just so happened to be at the 14th Annual Single Malt & Scotch Whisky Extravaganza in Los Angeles last week.

"Here is some info on the 'Macallan Cask Strength (one of my favorites!): It is widely available here (USA). As member of the sherry oak range family it's also exclusively matured in Selected sherry oak casks from Jerez, Spain."

"It's a complex Single Malt, exclusive to the USA and Canada and is matured at The Macallan distillery, and bottled at original cask strength, without chill filtration or the addition of water. The result is an exceptionally rich Single Malt, best enjoyed with a splash of water to release the complex aromas and sumptuous flavors."

"But I must add that if you don't add water....when the flames go down...the embers are gorgeous!!"
