Default Bell's Help Needed :)

Hello there! My name is Cecilia and I’m new in this forum. I got here through google. I was looking for information about a bottle of Bell’s Scotch whisky. I have found this at my grandmother’s house and I have absolute no clue how old is this whisky, “very” old for sure. The bottle is unopened with the security label intact. I also have the box, which shows a little wear as the label itself due to the years.
I would like to know how old is it, and approximately how much it worth. I have taken a couple of pics that I’m including at this time.
Any help will be much appreciated.
Thanks a lot in advanced. Best regards!

Default Bell's Decanter

One of the industries most recognized authorities is John Rose. He is featured in each issue of WHISKY MAGAZINE. You can write him through the magazine. Normally, when Bell's shows no age statement on the bottle, it is usually an 8-Year-Old whisky inside. Remember, once whisky is bottled, it stops aging. When bottled at 8 years old, it will always be an 8-year-old.

Default Bell's decanter

Also, here's a bit more information on this particular Bell's decanter....You can't see it in the photos posted here, but this decanter was made by Wade, this means that it was produced in the late 1960s. (Spode and Royal Doulton produced them before this). This decanter is from the original standard series, known as the 'Brown and Gold' series, and these were produced up until 1988 when they were replaced with the 'Tan and Cream' series.
