Question Scotch Liqueur Whisky

I am looking for the price of:

A bottle of Scotch Liqueur Whisky. The title of it is "the Unicorn"
The inscription on the bottle is "a blend of old whisky with a unique flavour" and special reserve.

Can anyone help?
Thanks Adrian

Adrian - is there a label on the back of this bottle? This one is a mystery!

Default The Unicorn Scotch Liqueur Whisky

Adrian, we reached out to one of whisky master experts and this is what we found out: "I've researched this since the initial query as it intrigued me and can find nothing about it. Looking at the photo there are a couple of "odd" points, the label looks on style to be from the late 1800's early 1900's but the bottle looks to be from a two piece mould which dates it from around 1910'ish or later when this type of production came in, before that they used 3 piece moulds. The stopper cork dates it from after the mid 1920's, unless it's not the original cork and if it's from after 1900 it should have the owners name as well as content and strength on the label. That aside the label does look right from colour and style as the majority of whisky sold at the turn of the century was called liqueur whisky even though it was pure scotch so it's a real mystery."

So at this point, I would suggest you try contacting McTears.com or Bonhams.com - both are auctioneer companies and specialize in valuations. I did a search on McTears.com for past auctions, but there weren't any findings. Frustrating, I know! I have a couple of other places to try for info, but in the meantime, try either of the above-mentioned companies and please keep us updated on what you find out.

Adrian - we're sorry to report that even our contact in Archive Services at the University of Glasgow didn't have any information on your bottle.
