Help With Single Malt List order

Hello, I will soon be placing a rather large order for various single malts, and would appreciate any help narrowing down my list.

My current list has 27 selections, but I would like to narrow it down to around 15 to 20. Or down to 12 to 15 would be even better.

I am trying to keep my selections between $50.00 to $100.00 per bottle. I can make an exception for 2 or 3 bottles up to $125.00.

I will be ordering from DrinkUpNY since they offer free shipping on orders over $100.00.

Hi Rocky, as no one else has offered anything I think the best question to ask is what flavours do you like? Your list stretches all over Scotland from very lightly flavoured Lowland to heavy peated Islays so to advise we'd need more info about your tastes.

I agree with the auchentoshan, its a great dram, as are all the auchentoshans, dont rule out the younger ones though, as said the choices you have made are a wide choice, maybe you should restrict you choices to a area, that in its self will shorten your list, whatever you choose enjoy them.....

17. Auchentoshan 18 Year Old Lowland Single Malt = $101.99

The Ardbeg was a little rough for the price and you can definitely find better. I just bought a bottle of the Auchentoshan 18 and it was very disappointing. It had a lots of smooth, but very little body, especially mid-palate. It was very empty tasting to me.

That leads me to replacements
19.Talisker 10 Year Old Single Skye Malt = $60.99
upgrade this one to the 18 year old, its very, very good, top 5 on my list
6. Laphroaig 10 Year Old Original Cask Strength Single Islay Malt = $70.99
I would go w/ the Laphroaig 15, also on my top 5 list.
