Default House of Peers?

Hi,
Yesterday i found four old bottles of Scotch Whisky :

"House of peers"
Pure Malt
Years 8 Old
70cl 40%

I really dont know anything about whisky, Is it a good Scotch Whisky? How much does it cost?
