I have several dozen bottles of Single Malt Scotches I received in a trade a few years ago. In it was a couple bottles of a Scotch called Springbank. Someone then told me that they could no longer import Springbank into the US or Canada. They also said that these 2 bottles may be 2 of only 12 in the US. I thought that was kind of strange, but here I am.
Is that the truth? I don't drink Scotch at all and have no idea if the bottles I have are worth anything or if they are just high priced mouthwash. Some of the labels I remember are Edroudar, Bowmare and a whole bunch of Glensomethings. I am curious about the Springbank however. |

Springbank Scotch currently exports their full range to the US (and have done so for many years) as well as to Alberta in Canada so it is certainly available in North America.
As for whether the bottles you bought are truly limited, you would really need to send more info about them. Take some photos and post them here on the Whisky.com Forum. Be sure to get really great, clear shots of the label, the bottle, age statemenet, etc.
