Default Seagrams Crown Royal Whisky 1971

I have found a sealed and unopend bottle of Seagrams Crown Royal 1971 Canadian whisky in my dads cupboard does any one know if it still ok to drink? and does it have any value if so how much and would any on like to buy as I do not drink whisky. Thanks
