Hi,
newbie here ![]() So i've just purchased a 21 yr glenfiddich and with that completed my collection of purchasable glenfiddichs, since i'm still not crazy enough to spend 200 bucks on any kind of liquid for that matter ![]() After having a few glasses, i hate to admit it but the 18 yr old is a better whiskey imo. The aftertaste of the 18 is more satisfying then the 21. With the 21 i find that the rum quickly dominates the vanilla and toffee, where as the 18 leaves me with a more sweeter taste of vanilla, apple and a hint of caramel. So i was wondering if there are any other people who agree with me on this, or maybe can help me to enjoy the 21 year old better (i added water already and it didnt really help that much) let me know. thnx
