Default Canadian Mist - Does it age?

I have aquired a bottle of Canadian Mist, which is unopened, and is approx 40 years old. I do not know much about whiskey in general and I was hoping to determine the following:

1) Does blended whisky age?

2) Is this ok to drink?

3) Is it worth anything?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
