Hi everyone. I'm pretty knowledgable about scotches and have the power of google to really research any of them that I want. But I found this one at a local liquer store and am stumped as to what it really is. I asked the guy at the store and he said that it's been on the shelf forever, maybe 10+ years. The case looks like it's really old (maybe pre-1990?). Does anyone have any info on it? I looked at all the labels and the bottle is very generic looking and for info. It just says 21 year speyside scotch brewed at the "Speyside Distilling Company." I saw a city name also on the bottle but have forgotten what it was. I will try to upload a picture if I can find a site to quick host it.

sorry the pic is so blurry, but the bottle doesn't really have any writing on it other than "the best whiskeys in the world" and "speyside scotch"

Tried the link and it looked very promising. I emailed the distillery and never received a response

I don't know if the distillery is still running but I ran a check on the company [privately owned] and they haven't submitted accounts for audit since December 2010

By the way, the city on the bottle was "Drumguish." Which leads me to believe that the link the guy posted earlier is the correct company.

Operating since 1991, the Speyside Distillers Company, Ltd located in the small location of Drumguish ( pronounced DRUM - OOO - EESH ) with a mailing address of the nearby town of KINGUSSIE ( pronounced KING - YOU - SEE ). Before the Speyside label was released, the first bottling was DRUMGUISH followed a few years later by SPEYSIDE. Drumguish has improved over the years but is a girl that one will stray from to go steady with a more popular one. Neither the Drumguish or Speyside malts will give one an epiphany.

I'm guessing it's probably not worth the $90 price tag at the store then.
