Hello all. I've been a malt fan for many years but being short on funds for a while I dipped into the blended stuff and have been pleasantly surprised.
A couple of days ago I was offered some (legitimate) bottles at ten pounds each. I grabbed a pair of Teachers and a nice Grants all three in litre size. One of the Teachers has what to me anyway is an unusual label and cap. The label has a different layout and the cap has the gold and black reversed when compared to the stuff I see in shops. Probably means nothing but I'm curious and wonder if anyone here can shed any light on the matter. |

Thanks, I'll have a go.
![]() I've put both bottles up so as to show the differences. |

Both are older bottles as Teachers [in Scotland] is now sold with a redesigned label quite different to these. The black cap is the newer one from around 2005 to 2010/11 the other's from the late 1990's to 2005.
