Default Can Anyone Help Finding A Couple Of Glasses?

I bought a bottle of Glenlivet last week and it came with a couple of wide bottomed glasses that closely resemble a glass from Glencairn, except that the top is straight instead of flared and I'd like to find where to get more of them.

Another glass I'd really like to find is pictured in the middle on the cover of:
The World's Best Whiskies by Dominic Roskrow, and if anyone can help identify them I'd be most grateful.

If necessary I'll try to add pictures later today or tomorrow.

Those are the big ones I was talking about and they are perfect for laying in bed watching a movie or using the computer, as they can't fall over and spill no matter what you do. I also like the nosing aspect of these quite a bit.
Any idea who makes them so I can try and find some sterile ones or a branding I actually like?
Thanks for finding the picture.

This is the best I can do.

Glencairn Wide-Bowl Whisky Glass - Set of 4 - $49.99

You'll have to settle with the Canadian Maple leaf on the bottom.

I've heard that style glass referred to as a Canadian Whisky Glass
or a Canadian Glencarin (which might explain the Maple Leaf.)

I have ordered from ScotchWhiskyGlass.com in the past. They carry
the CWG - $13.50 for one (incl. shipping). The Canadians are sold
out currently but maybe check back or e-mail asking when they might
be back in stock.

The first glass Michael located is the exact glass I'm interested in and if it has to say Glenlivet then so be it, but the main difference to the Glencairn is the fluted top, and much like the famous smaller Glencairn Whisky Glass has, I like the straight up top without the flare.
At present I have two of the Glenlivet glasses and at least know that I can find more if need be.

Thanks Silverfish! ScotchWhiskyGlass.com you mention is owned by our member bkblankenship (Kenneth) - the one I just mentioned who I hope can give added help with Islay Peat's search.

Default Glassware for Islay Peat

Hello,

The Glenlivet glass is called the Speyside glass. We, at ScotchWhiskyGlass.Com carry the Canadian Whisky Glass ( the one that Michael found ), but we are currently out of stock due to large sales during the Christmas season. I should have them back in stock later this week ( week of January 7th ).

The Canadian Whisky Glass is a Glencairn product. It doubles as a rocks glass and a tasting / nosing glass. For those who like STEMLESS wine glasses, my wife discovered that the Canadian Whisky Glass makes a good wine glass as well.

Jojo, Kenneth and all, thanks for the assistance, and especially thanks to Michael for finding a picture of the glass.

It may seem a trivial difference between the Speyside and Canadian glass, but I like the straight sides better and will continue to search for the Speysider, even though I'm a committed Islay guy.

Another great find however was the identification of the glass I mentioned, which is pictured on the cover of 'The World's Best Whiskies', by Dominic Roskrow, and they are made by Villeroy and Boch. Named the Scotch Whisky Single Malt glass, in two shapes, one for Islands and one for Highlands, I also found a picture of one in my hand, no less!

That picture should now be my new avatar, except it doesn't seem to be showing up.

This may be taken as heresy here, but when I first held a Glencairn I immediately wished for one with no base, and in the Villeroy & Boch, I found what I'd envisioned.

I think I'll order a couple of these.
I like the tall narrow neck. Villeroy and Boch.

You made it your profile picture, not your avatar. I fixed it.

Can't decide from the pictures which style I like better but when I found the picture which is now my avatar, with one of the larger ones in my hand I recall them feeling quite nice in the hand and think I'll be getting a pair of each.

Wait, is that a picture of you in your avatar? And all the while I thought your name was Islay Pete.

Yeah, I had the picture of my hand first, but she's a lot better looking!
