I'm new in this whisky world, so I would appreciate your help in my decision:
Which of these three whiskys do you think is better?
Corrected I would especially appreciate your opinion about the first one, Jack Daniel's. Is it good? Last edited by nir63rin; 12-28-2012 at 11:57 AM. |

i have never seen a johnnie walker white label so either is very very new or it is very very old so i cant help with that(if it looks old buy that). but betwwen the jack and the blue you are talking about a massive price gap (if its the standard jack or gentleman jack). you cant go wrong with the blue label though.
can you post pics? |

i would go for the johnnie walker black label. try THE MACALLAN 10 YEAR OLD SHERRY OAK (NOT FINE OAK). should be a little more expensive than the black label BUT...

Black over Red, as Red is swill. Do yourself a favor and go for Green.
Jack Daniels is good for mixing, not sipping. JD Single Barrel is pretty good. All of them are blends, and you are in the single malt forum. |

And what about a 12 years Glenfiddich? I've heard that it's good for beginners.
