Question McCallum Perfection (30+Yrs Old??)

Hi,
I have been trying hard to find out more about this bottle of Mccallum Perfection and it's value. Its been lying in my parents old cabinet for more then 30+years and not sure if its older then that. I have email Diageo and some forum but they have no idea.

Appreciate if anyone could share some details on this. Or maybe i shall just drink it. Getting thirsty though.

Please see links.

Cheers
T

Found this thru a Google search :
http://www.nicks.com.au/Product/View...y-(700ml)/4541

From this it appears to be a blending whisky BUT I didn't check for a 30 yr. type - FWIW.

Looking at the label and seal it appears to be pre 1970 but how old is a problem as this pack didn't change for many years before that. With the ribbon running under the label it could even be from the 1950's. Doubt if there's a great value to it even that old.

McCallum's Perfection is a blended whisky. Being in a cupboard for 30 years does not make it 30 year old whisky.
