Greetings.
I cracked this bottle open. After hearing favorable reviews f the 1960/1970s JW Red, I was hoping this bottle was from the same era on taste, there is a HUGE difference to modern Red. Very smooth, no harsh bite, the nose and the taste at the tip of the tongue has very large vanilla hints. Just a great sip. I'm by no means a whisky connoisseur but these are just my humble impressions ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
