Question Whiskey Bottles - Any value?

I have many unopened bottles of Canadian Whiskey and I was wondering if they had any value. Grand Award, 15 year old, imported Distinguished Canadian Whiskey from 1956. The US Internal Rev. # (356570829) and the excise # (C4453268) seals and still in tact. Registered at the Distillary, JM Douglas & Co. Limited, Montreal Canada, No. B 169272 and in the lower right hand of the label is WG-424A. Imported by Jules Berman and Associates, L.A. Cal.
2 bottles of Canadian Club- Blended Canadian Whiskey (1966 & 1973) 6 year old. Again, all seals are in tact as the previous described bottle. Imported by Hiram Walker & Sons Lmt.
1 bottle Seagrams V.O. 6 year old (1966) with all seals in tact.
1 bottle of Windsor Supreme Canadian Whiskey (1966) all seals in tact.

Are these bottles worth anything and does whiskey ever go bad after a certain amount of years? Thanks for you help....

Contact mctears.com or bonhams.com for values. Keep in mind that these whiskies from Canada have always been made in great quantities. What makes a whisky rare is when, well basicially, it's been made in certain number, no longer available and very difficult to obtain. Whisky from closed distilleries are also often rare because quite simply, no more is being produced. Also, it helps when the whisky is a prized bottle. Off the top of my thoughts, I don't think any you have mentioned extraordinarily special which would make them of high value or rare. Do contact Andrews at McTears or Martin Green at Bonhams for additional information. Another thought is to enjoy your collection with good friends and family. That value? Absolutely priceless!
