While cleaning out an old cabinet in my house I found a bottle still in the gift box of Four Roses Premium American Light Whiskey, 86 Proof 4/5 quart distilled in either Baltimore Maryland and/or Lawrenceburg Indiana. Tax Stamp Seal still intact.
Is this Whiskey still drinkable? I know it's no longer manufactured. What is the value of the bottle of whiskey? Thanks, BigJim |

Jim,
Your whiskey should still be drinkable, as alot of even older bottles still are. However, you may find the taste a bit "oxidized" if there has been a significant amount of air in the bottle. As for valuation, for that I'd have to see photos of the bottle to know it's condition & fill-level, and to get an accurate date of manufacture. If you need any help, just let me kow!
