Default Vintage Four Roses Bottle of Premium American Light Whiskey

While cleaning out an old cabinet in my house I found a bottle still in the gift box of Four Roses Premium American Light Whiskey, 86 Proof 4/5 quart distilled in either Baltimore Maryland and/or Lawrenceburg Indiana. Tax Stamp Seal still intact.

Is this Whiskey still drinkable? I know it's no longer manufactured. What is the value of the bottle of whiskey?

Thanks,

BigJim

Default Four Roses

Jim,

Your whiskey should still be drinkable, as alot of even older bottles still are.
However, you may find the taste a bit "oxidized" if there has been a significant amount of air in the bottle.

As for valuation, for that I'd have to see photos of the bottle to know it's condition & fill-level, and to get an accurate date of manufacture.

If you need any help, just let me kow!

Cheers,
