Many, many years ago, Jack Daniel's had a shipping dock in Nashville. They also had one in Hopkinsville, KY and a third in St. Louis. On the bottles that were shipped from those locations, the label reflected the corresponding town. So, it looks like you have in your possession one of these bottles that was distributed out of Nashville. Today in Lynchburg, TN, the Jack Daniel's Distillery certainly does not have the need to ship from different locations since they have a large shipping department and everything is shipped directly from there.

Does it look like this bottle ?
Uncle Jack whiskey dates from early 1900. It is one of the older brand-names used. It was Lem Motlow who started using the name. Last edited by Raapio; 06-08-2011 at 09:45 AM. |
