Default Glencairn Glass? Which one? Where to get it?

When I search online for a Glencairn Glass, I get lots of contradictory weblinks. Where should I be looking to find a good Glencairn Glass with a cover and not some knock off or over priced glass?

This weblink appears to be the best but, the most of the retailers they suggest don't list these glasses.

Thanks!

I'm in Arizona. I frequently travel to Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Tucson so retail stores in any of those cities are good options. I can go to border areas pretty easy if a Mexican border town is worth the effort.

Links to any preferred websites would be appreciated too.

Default The Glencairn Glass

I bought my glencairn glasses a few months ago from HighLifeDesigns.com they shipped the same day and I'm thrilled with the glasses. I've checked them out again this week and they seem to have broaden their selection of whiskey glasses.

Hi Dave and Marty Coffey of Cobhthaigh Celtique, www.cobhthaighceltique.com as referenced in the 12/27/08 anonymous CC purchaser? comment above. By the way, Cobhthaigh is Gaelic for Coffey a surname of Clan Macfie of Colonsay and Oronsay, isles of the Inner Hebrides, as are Islay, Arran and Skye.

Cobhthaigh Celtique is a U.S. internet based stockist of The Glencairn Whisky Glassware and accessories of interest to enthusiasts of the world of whisky. We have available the best prices and options on authentic Glencairn Lead Free Crystal glasses, the original and authentic Glencairn Cut Crystal glassware and the Glencairn Iona Crystal Pitcher, Distillery Logo Etched, custom etched and Hand Painted glassware, gift box packs of glasses and accessories and are the exclusive designers and merchants of The Glencairn Whisky Glass Caddy®. The caddy allows you to safely and stylishly take your glasses along to the pub, favorite whisky bar, single malt or other whiskey tastings, business trips, vacations, cruises, or a fellow enthusiasts home in a custom created and padded two glass carrying case. You pick the cover design, leather and interior suede colors. Soon to come a four glass caddy® and a two glass and a place for a bottle caddy®! The caddy and gift boxes make memorable birthday, wedding and anniversary gifts. Also you may follow the link: www.whiskywares.com to the same site. Thanks for visiting us and while visiting take time to enjoy some authentic Scottish music by our friend Jim Malcolm and our own original photography of Scotland, Ireland, and Wales.

You are going to LOVE these glasses! We truly do and we are not just glass sales people!!

P.S. in answer to the questions above about the glasses: the knockoffs are the smaller (Glencairns are 4.5 inches tall) similarly shaped, but not nearly as good looking a glass. LFC Glencairns have etched on the bottom of the glass “The Glencairn Glass” in inverted script and that can be viewed correctly when drinking from the glass. All of our glass options are Authentic Glencairn Crystal Co. glasses. We offer the option of watch glass covers as these have a purpose that you may not choose to use and individual display/gift boxes as these are meant mainly for retail display – you will want to leave your glasses out to show them off! D&M

Default Glencairn glass

If the original poster has not got a glass yet let me know and I'll send one over. They are dirt cheap here in Scotland.
