I am looking for a whisky that is similar to Johnnie Walker Blue, in that it gives a very very smooth warm drink, yet not as expensive. Could you give me two of your best choices that are like that? And cost between $60 to $80 a bottle? I understand that all whiskies are not the same, but from your opinion which two would you say are closest to the BLUE and yet not as expensive? Also, what do you think of Chivas 18, is that very smooth and close to what the BLUE is?

In my opinion, there nothing like JW Blue. And by the way, you can pick up a bottle for around $140 online. When I'm not sippin' on blue, my go to is James Buchanan's 18 Year Special Reserve. If you haven't ever tried that your missing out. I'm sure other more tenured whisky affectionados on here should have some good suggestions. Good luck and if you stumble upon something let us know!
