Update...
Our most knowledgeable (and quite impressive) whisky expert quickly wrote to me and had this to say..."I haven’t seen this particular label but I have another from what is likely the same company, Lindsay’s (Perth) Distillers Ltd, for a brand called Lindsay’s Liqueur which looks to be from around the 1920’s and says that they had been established for over 50 years at that time. While researching this brand some years ago I found that there could be a tentative connection with Clyde Bonding Company, founded by W. A. Robertson [together with R & B] in the mid 1800’s. There seemed to be a connection but I could never get definite proof. I’ll scan the label tomorrow and send it to you to see."
