The youngest spirit in the bottle would have to be 30yrs old. If, for example, it was distilled in the February of 1979 it would have only reached its 30th year in February of this year. Then it would have the marriage period where the different casks are vatted together and then it would go for bottling. This leaves a very small time scale for the years to coincide.

If you were born in December it would be easier to find a 30 yr old distilled in 1979.

There is a good 30yr old Tomatin Malt and "The Antiquary" 30 yr old blend, unfortunatly they were not distilled in 1979.
