One sold at auction in 2010 for £2,400 (Bottle 2144) ($3846 USD). This was a limited release of 3,000 bottles and was created from 5 butts and 16 hogsheads. And, just an FYI for anyone who might be lucky enough to come across a bottle of The Macallan 1946 56 yo - this is part of the Fine & Rare collection, is a VERY limited release of 350 bottles, cost £2250 ($3606 USD) at first release in 2002 and now costs considerably more as it becomes rarer.
