Do you have any suggestions on where I can sell this bottle for an overseas market as according to ebays policy we cannot sell the item out of the UK thesedays?

FS - try contacting McTear's - they have an upcoming auction on February 25th. (mctears.com) First, see about getting a value from them on what you have and then may want to have them put it up for auction (they get 15% commission). However, you will have to be the one responsible for shipping. So, I would contact your local postal service and ask them what their rules are for shipping alcohol overseas - although I have a feeling it depends on exactly where you want to ship. Also, you mentioned eBay won't allow you to list your item there. See what their rules are regarding "collectible containers". I do see scotch up for auction on eBay. Good luck - let me know how it goes.
