Default Old Black and White Whisky

Hi,
I am trying to get some date information on two Black and White bottles I have recently been given. These are full and unopened and were bought in the UK during the second world war, and have lain untouched ever since. I believe they were some years old when they were purchased. The label on the back of the bottles makes a reference to the date it had been printed, i.e. Jan 1928, so I guess that the bottles had been filled relatively soon afterwards. The bottles are of green glass, by the way.
There is no reference to any royal appointment on either label, which may be a pointer to age, and no picturesof Scottie dogs on the labels.
The distillery is noted as Glentauchers-Glenlivet at Mulben, Banffshire and the bottoms of the bottles are stamped NB6 and NB81A respectively, although they would have been bottle makers' codes I guess.

I should be grateful if anyone could advise of the approximate date and also whether it would pay me sell them or drink the contents!!

Many thanks,

Rocky
