One of the things that I have not been able to find either on the Glencairn glass website or at any of the dealers listed in this thread is are the glasses dishwasher safe?

Now I know many purest would insist such a fine glass always be hand washed but since these are used by many fine establishments in Scotland one would think they would be overwhelmed doing all the cleaning by hand. Usually the box will say one way or the other; unfortunately there is no guidance.

Appreciate any guidance on this.
