Default Alberta Premium 100% rye whisky

I'm not sure if I mentioned this brand here on the forums in another post earlier. I'm sort of a newbie whisky drinker and certainly no expert, but I do like a nice straight up shot of rye whiskey to sip, especially with a nice cigar (which I have only one every week). The one up here in Canada I prefer is Alberta Premium, just the regular stuff, I think it might be 6 years old or something like that. Not expensive either, liquor up here is pricey compared to south of the border, so on sale for $17 sometimes for a 26 oz (750 ml) bottle is very reasonable by our standards. Interesting thing is that I think it is the ONLY Canadian rye whisky that is made from 100% rye grain in the manufacturing process. All others include other grains including corn, wheat, etc. from what I read. So it's sort of a "single malt" if you will but in a rye whisky, would that be sort of correct to say that? Also good as a highball with coke. And I also like Canadian Club in the same category.
