Thank you both for your responses. I guess I will have to contact Macallan. I am very suspect of the bottle and now even more after looking at a couple of other bottles of Springbank that I purchased from the same customer. They have similar looking cutouts around the bottle number. It's weird because it doesn't look like it is cut all the way through and the rest of the labels and everything else looks good.
