Hi,

I can help with the info you are seeking on the Buchanan's Deluxe 12-Yr-Old.
The COLOR is Pale Amber, NOSE: Speyside Grassiness, Light, TASTE: Clean with Heather-Honey Notes, Peat, and Spice, FINISH: Chocolate, Medium to Long.

This blend boasts a 50% malt content giving it one of the highest malt contents of any blended whisky.

Although blenders will not reveal the full recipe, they will divulge many of the primary components that make up a blend.

The PRIMARY MALTS included in this blend are: At the heart is DALWHINNIE for the honey; then comes TALISKER for spice and COAL ILA for the smokey peatiness; then the Speysides, GLENDULLAN and AULTMORE for cleanliness, grassiness and fruitiness. Many of the primary malts have been aged in sherry butts.

The grains used are PORT DUNDAS and C A M E R O N BRIDGE.
