The sediment's no problem it's one of two things, first it may be cork dust so be very careful when you open the bottle as the cork may crumble, The other may depend on whether the bottles been stored in a cooler environment, like a basement, and over the years the cold may have gererated a haze which could become a deposit on the bottom of the bottle, treat it like a bottle of wine, don't shake it and decant carefully
