NEVER, NEVER, but NEVER listen to anyone who makes a statement such as a "good whisky should be a least 10 years old and non-chilled filtered as this retained all the flavourful oils." These kind of statements are usually made by tour guides who add editorial comments to an alread CANNED talk for a tour. Respectfully, these people are either part time looking for a little extra money, a college student or a retired person looking to fill in their day. For the most part they know nothing about whisky. I DO prefer NON-CHILL FILTERED whiskies as they do retain complexity, but the statement "at least 10 years old" respectfully is rubbish.
