I currently have three 2 liter barrels aging since Feb. 1st. Two are for me and the third is a Mother's Day gift for my sister-in-law. I extracted one sample from each on April 1st and will probably get another this Sunday. Will decide then how much longer to leave in.

I used barrels from Copper Fox Distillery (sorry no link - their url has a dot biz which shows up as *****.) One is filled with their 160 proof Single Malt Spirit. One is filled with their Rye Spirit and the last has some Wasmund's Rye, Buffalo Trace
White Dog and a few others as the most experimental of the three.

Other barrel sources:

OakBarrels - new, unused, nice selection of smaller sizes
Kentucky Barrels both new & used, larger sizes
I will take off the dot biz ban.
