I have only been able to get this when family visits here from South America in the past so I was indeed happy. I heard that Old Parr was not previously in the US due to not being able to keep up with the possible demand. I found that hard to believe since I heard that is the number one blended whisky in Asia (or something along those lines). That info on why Old Parr was not distributed in North America came from a friend of a friend that is a top level executive @ Diago. Any truth to that?
