You could very well possibly have a rare bottle of Ladyburn. In 1966, the Ladyburn Distillery was built within the Girvan grain distillery by William Grant & Sons. However, its purpose was to contribute to Grant's blended whiskies and not intended as a single malt. Sounds like you have an independent bottling of Ladyburn - which is hard to find.
The distillery was very small and could be run by just one person. It was opened only a few years - by the mid 1970s, Ladyburn distillery was closed.
So post some photos - I'm sure I'm not the only one interested to see what you have!
