Couisorty got the best of me and I opened up one of the Airigh Nam Beist tonight. So here is a quick rundown.
Color: Light golden. a shade lighter than in the picture.
Nose: Ardbeg Peat but soft. Apple smoke. Salt water.
Palate: Warm Roasted Nuts, smoke but fruity, coco. Creamy, coated the whole mouth really well and leaves a nice soft favor on the tongue.
Finish: Med-Long.Almost a salt water taffy with a meaty taste to it. Doesn't leave the mouth dry at all. Mouth continues to water for a min or 2 after you swallowed the dram.
Overall this stuff Delicious. Pouring me a second glass right now. I would recommend this if you see it or have a bottle and waiting to open it. Its 46% and doesn't need water but on this second glass, I am gonna add a few drops and see if it opens up a little bit.
Also for full dis-closer. I am really new to whisky and whisky reviews. Only been getting into whisky over the last 2yrs or so. So take my reviews of those as someone who really is new to whisky and not as one a seasoned more experienced person.
