I found 5 auctions with an average hammer price of $201. After paying a ******* fee of ~25% and a shipping fee of ~$20 ( destination in USA; ~$50 to Europe ) to the auction house, you would possibly realize $130 if **** in the USA. These are European auctions. Bottles tend to go cheaper in the USA than in Europe. Auctions in Europe have a higher profile / exposure than ones do in the USA as there are more auctions. Currently Bonhams in New York is the only authorized auction house for spirits that I am aware of in the USA. You will realize a lot less if you ship it to Europe, plus the ******* fees tend to be higher ( ~33% ). Also, if you do not have the box, it brings the price down as collectors want all associated packaging. Also, the condition of the label on the bottle ( e. g., soiled, dog eared in the corners, torn, etc. make a difference ). Unless you desparately need $130 ( no guarantee ), I would open it and drink it. This is not a rare dram.
