I've had the Bushmills 10 and found it drinkable, but not necessarily enjoyable and the one, and much the same with my feelings towards the Jameson's 18 I had. For Irish whisky I liked the Connemarra best so far.
Speyburn 10 is pleasant and inexpensive, Macallan Fine Oak for me is something to avoid and the Old Pulteney 12 was okay for an inexpensive bottle.
I guess the bushmills would be a chivas regal 12 more smoother...
What are your thoughs on glenrothes select reserve?
