People often knock glenfiddich but its a great entry level malt that ticks all the boxes. There is a reason its one of the best ******* malts in the world. It wont light up the room but it does its job well. Focuses on a lighter fruity style so no risk of scaring you off with heavy oak or peat.
The 18yr glenfiddich is actually a cracking malt, it was also given 95/100 by jim murray. The 15yr also a pretty good malt.
There is something on the juras nose that i just dont like and i find the taste very dull and toffee forward....but thats just personal preference.
