I'll definitely try some samples. I'll get some Isle of Jura and Glenfiddich samples. Is Irish Whiskey worth a try? They seem to be pricey for me but Jameson I could get.
I hope people understand what I'm saying though, I want it less oaky. Do you folks think I'm in the wrong game or will their be some nice ones for me? "Peat" seems to be a word I wouldn't like to drink. I've heard I'd like Lowland scotches as they're less peaty than the Highlands.
I like most Irish whiskies, but I don't find the same complexity in those as I do in single malt scotches. I prefer Bushmills over Jameson, and I really like the Bushmills Black Bush.
