Excellent choice with the Glenfarclas XOUNLISTEDXOX. Although the Highland Park and Macallan are excellent malts, John Grant of Glenfarclas works off the principle of offering his Glenfarclas malts at reasonable prices that the consumer can afford; not prices for the collectibles market as many others do. Glenfarclas is one those malts that can EASILY stand up against any whisky. Glenfarclas holds its head high with its chest pumped out. It is a bold malt full of aromas and flavors that keep going and going. Try the Glenfarclas 12-year-old if you have yet to. I think you will find it most enjoyable to drink on a regular basis. Also, order yourself a bottle of the Glenfarclas 15-year-old from a stockist in Europe ( it is not offered in the USA ). The 15-year-old exudes the Glenfarclas personality.
