Whilst not the best Ardbeg in the world it's certainly a very good whisky, had any other distillery produced this it would have been one of their outstanding malts, the problem is Ardbeg is just too bloody good at what they do and the bar is already so high that any new release from them has a really tough job.
I personally really like the Galileo, it offers something different and I'm very glad I've still got one left.
Posts like this make me anxious to try it again and I wonder if I'll have a different opinion next time around.
Still, as an Ardbeg'r, I have yet to find a soft spot for either the Galileo or Blasda.
