Modern LED's from Nichia, particularly the high CRI 119 and 219 emitters, have come a long way from the cold, lifeless LED's of recent past. Warmer tints which are easily available now, look virtually undetectable in comparison to incandescent bulbs, with the added benefits of low UV levels, longer life, lower power draw, less heat generation and smaller fixture size.
