This is really NEW news - policy was 'temporarily' change the 21st of this month.
Its a money maker for Ebay so I'd expect a revision as they noted in the very near future allowing the sales to go forard.
Well see how it play out.

Update :
I found the background for the story online and while true I think Ebay has some homework to do as well in that I think you have to be atleast 18 to have an account and I believe the person in question was younger than that - so how did that slip thru the crack.
As I said we'll see how they handle it in the future.
This was a nice bit of 'propaganda' for 20/20 since this practice has gone on for years until Ebay was 'in a sense' set up for failure to make a headline!
