Not as fancy as you guys, but got a rosewood sideboard with room for my spirits glassware on the top of 1 side and around 20 bottles on the bottom. Down to 10 at the mo as waiting for some releases...

The distilery knows more about their whisky than most of he rest if us. They spend a lot of time trying to get the flavour profile right and getting he strength...

Head over to Benriach - they wood finish in just about every type and over various ages...

Cask strength has to be th le strength of the spirit once it leaves the cask, wih no furher alteration. Something like a talisker 57 north is not cask strength...

I know it's not overly glamourous but you could always decant it into a plastic bottle with a screw cap - you may look like a tramp but you'd have safe whisky...

Peatiness is smokey, but it's not just smoke. It's not smokey like woodsmoke or a bonfire (although some can be), it's more like the smoke you would get...

The A'bunadh is a cracker, there is batch variation so just be careful as they are not all going to be the same.
Basically; these are aged only in Oloroso sherry butts and are not chill filtered....

If you are thinking of going for peated Speysiders then there are a couple of crackers you should try...not sure what budget you are on though.
The Balvenie do a 17yr peated cask which is nice...
